Depuis sa premi\u00e8re introduction \u00e0 la fin des ann\u00e9es 1990, elle a \u00e9t\u00e9 utilis\u00e9e par de nombreux praticiens de la g\u00e9ophysique terrestre et \u00e9tudi\u00e9e par de nombreux chercheurs dans le monde entier.<\/p>\n<p>La m\u00e9thode sismique MASW permet de calculer la distribution des vitesses de cisaillement (Vs) dans les sols et le roc sous forme de sondages 1D ou de profils 2D.<\/p>\n<p>La m\u00e9thode d'Analyse Multi canal des Ondes de Surface, aussi appel\u00e9e AMOS (MASW), est couramment utilis\u00e9e pour mesurer indirectement le profil des vitesses de l'onde de cisaillement des mat\u00e9riaux d'un site \u00e0 l'aide de l'analyse des propri\u00e9t\u00e9s de dispersion de l'onde de Rayleigh (onde de surface \/ \"ground roll\"). Les donn\u00e9es sont collect\u00e9es en surface sans forage.
