Ce syst\u00e8me est couramment utilis\u00e9 en g\u00e9nie civil pour effectuer l'auscultation du b\u00e9ton afin d'y cartographier les conduits et les armatures se trouvant \u00e0 l'int\u00e9rieur d'une dalle. Le g\u00e9oradar peut \u00e9galement \u00eatre utilis\u00e9 pour effectuer le profilage du roc ou d'autres couches g\u00e9ologiques, de m\u00eame qu'en lev\u00e9s marins, le g\u00e9oradar peut \u00eatre utilis\u00e9 pour faire la bathym\u00e9trie des rapides en h\u00e9licopt\u00e8re. Dans le domaine des transports, le g\u00e9oradar est utilis\u00e9 pour effectuer la cartographie de l'\u00e9paisseur de rev\u00eatement bitumineux sur les routes ainsi que dans les stationnements. Et ce n'est l\u00e0 qu'une partie de ses capacit\u00e9s.<\/p>\n<h3>La reconnaissance g\u00e9otechnique d\u2019infrastructures civiles consiste \u00e0 d\u00e9terminer la nature et la r\u00e9partition des mat\u00e9riaux dont il est compos\u00e9 et \u00e0 d\u00e9terminer leurs propri\u00e9t\u00e9s.<\/h3>\n<p>La g\u00e9ophysique terrestre applique les moyens de la physique \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9tude de la structure des terrains.
