Le g\u00e9oradar peut \u00eatre utilis\u00e9 pour d\u00e9tecter des objets enfouis, tels que des r\u00e9servoirs de stockage souterrains, des fondations de b\u00e2timents, des tunnels ainsi que des sites fun\u00e9raires.<\/p>\n<p>Les lev\u00e9s \u00e9lectromagn\u00e9tiques (EM-31) et de r\u00e9sistivit\u00e9 \u00e9lectrique sont des m\u00e9thodes qui sont couramment utilis\u00e9es pour cartographier les panaches de contaminants, les sols \/ d\u00e9p\u00f4ts meubles, la g\u00e9ologie du substrat rocheux, les d\u00e9chets enfouis etc.<\/p>\n<p>Les lev\u00e9s magn\u00e9tiques r\u00e9pondent tr\u00e8s bien pour d\u00e9tecter des barils et autres objets m\u00e9talliques enfouis ainsi que pour d\u00e9limiter les sites d'enfouissement ainsi que les variations \u00e0 l'int\u00e9rieur de ces derniers.<\/p>\n<p>Les \u00e9tudes environnementales comme la cartographie de sols contamin\u00e9s, l'\u00e9tude de sources de contamination et les \u00e9tudes de type \u00ab phase 1 \u00bb. GPR oeuvre aussi dans l'hydrog\u00e9ologie et la recherche d'eau souterraine. Enfin GPR offre \u00e9galement des services de mesures de radioactivit\u00e9.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"h2resize\">Programmes\u00a0d'\u00e9tudes environnementales :<\/h2>\n<p><strong>Identification de sol contamin\u00e9 :<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>La pr\u00e9sence de contaminants (hydrocarbures, drainage minier acide, etc.) dans le sol ou dans l'eau souterraine engendre des variations dans leurs propri\u00e9t\u00e9s physiques. C'est ainsi que certaines m\u00e9thodes g\u00e9ophysiques telles la r\u00e9sistivit\u00e9 \u00e9lectrique, le g\u00e9oradar ou les m\u00e9thodes \u00e9lectromagn\u00e9tiques (syst\u00e8me EM-31) permettent d'identifier les limites de panaches de contamination.
